Mariano Lozano-Soto is a doctoral student in the San Diego State University/Claremont Graduate University Joint Ph.D. Program in Education. He holds a BA in Religious Studies (CSU Northridge), a MA in History of Religions (UC Santa Barbara), and a Bilingual Single Subject Teaching Credential (SDSU). He is currently the evaluation assistant with the FUERTE project. His areas of study are school finance policy, bilingual education, and culturally and linguistically responsive pedagogies. His dissertation focuses on resource equity for multilingual learners in California.
