Coordination & Evaluation Institution (Morehouse)
The goal of the the Faculty Institutional Recruitment for Sustainable Transformation (FIRST) Coordination and Evaluation Center (CEC) at Morehouse School of Medicine is to conduct a consortium-wide evaluation of the impact of the FIRST program on institutional culture change as it relates to inclusive excellence in STEM and the biomedical sciences. In addition to conducting the consortium-wide evaluation, the CEC also organizing monthly FIRST Executive Steering Committee meetings, FIRST CEC Steering Committee meetings and an annual meeting composed of CEC leadership and staff, FIRST funded institutions, FIRST faculty, and NIH representatives. The FIRST CEC is funded by the NIH Commonfund.
